Richmond's Best

The Richmond YC's promotional flyer reads "Richmond's Best Light," but Wednesday's beer can race was more full bodied than advertised. Winds basically kept all but about 12 boats from the start line.

"These digitals were Photoshopped into labels that will be placed on the wine bottles awarded at the next Wednesday night race," said our RYC source. That will be on April 20.

Keelboats and dinghies, adults and kids are welcome to race. "Beat your parents back to the club," says the flyer. There's no entry fee, but there are "age appropriate" trophies. The results aren't online, but you can get the schedule and more info at www.richmondyc.org.
