The Santana 35 Maguro got the inside on the Brooks Dees GP26 sport boat Salt Peanuts, which set the kite and was gone. Brooks is the big guy in the blue top feeding the kite out. He designed the boat, too. ©2010 Richmond YC

Richmond YC Wednesday Night

June 28, 2010

Hard to imagine any yacht club in the Northern Hemisphere doing a beer can with three Aussie 18s plus the usual assortment of Mom and Pop crab crushers and hot custom one-offs. No wonder our handicapper is a quantum physicist. All with hot babes who know how to sail. About 30+ boats showed up for the parade around Southampton Shoal last Wednesday night.

A Schumacher 52 gets the inside on an Aussie 18 at the finish. Sam on the outside suffered a tragic blender breakdown and almost had to retire. The crew gamely soldiered on with mixed drinks. ©2010 Richmond YC
