July 8-11, 2023

The finishes came in hot and heavy on July 8-9, and almost everyone had finished by July 11. Although the July days are longer than the nights in Kauai, the majority of finishers arrived in the hours between sunset and sunrise. Tree Time became a daily habit, with sailors and well-wishers gathering under an ironwood tree at Hanalei Pavilion Park each evening before sunset.
