Hobie Cat Round Treasure Island Regatta

The Hobie Cat Round Treasure Island Regatta was this past Saturday and Sunday, with five races for Hobie Miracle 20s, Hobie 18s, Tigers and Hobie 16s. The Hobie 16s outnumbered the rest. Racing started and finished near Crown Beach, Alameda, which was warmer than mid-Bay.

The Island Yacht Club hosted a big barbeque dinner for the Hobie fleet on Saturday night. The dinner was well attended, filling the upstairs. The Hobie Class Association of North America, Div. 3, hosted the races.
